Backup Agent

The Backup Agent provides a simple method of obtaining clean backups on PSQL database engines. With all Server Engines after v11, you have a FREE license to use the Backup Agent built into the software. Actian discontinued making these available for the Workgroup Engine in 2021, but it was re-released in 2023. Get more information about Backup Agent through this link.

AuditMaster

The AuditMaster auditing system provides integrated database auditing capabilities for the PSQL database engine environment. Get more information about AuditMaster through this link. Please note that Actian does not offer upgrade discounts for AuditMaster, so if you upgrade your database engine, you may need to purchase a new AuditMaster license.

DataExchange Real-Time Backup Edition

The DataExchange Real-Time Backup Edition provides integrated database replication capabilities for a PSQL/Zen database from one server to another (in one direction only). This is suitable for maintaining reporting server or a web environment which does not require two-way synchronization. Get more information about DataExchange through this link. DataExchange Data Synchronization Edition

The DataExchange Synchronization Edition provides 2-way database replication capabilities for two or more Windows database servers. Get more information about DataExchange through this link. Shipping and Taxes

Actian stopped production of the Media Kits, so all licenses are now delivered as electronic downloads only. If you prefer a paper copy, please request a copy of the license document and label when ordering. Sales taxes will be charged for all IL and IN destinations, unless a proper tax exemption form is provided. All other destinations will be responsible for self-assessing sales taxes where applicable.

Ordering Information

Payment options include:

• On-Line: Visit shop2.goldstarsoftware.com to order products on-line from our secure storefront.
• Pre-Paid: Contact Goldstar Software to determine the exact amount of the order. Mail your payment (Check payable to Goldstar Software Inc.) to our address (as shown on the Contact page) with the original quote or a written copy of your order. Please be sure to include all information, including version, platform, user count, and shipping method, where applicable. When we receive the payment, we will process the order and ship the software to you with a PAID invoice.
• Purchase Order: To accept your company purchase order, we must have an open customer account set up. Please download the required forms and fill in the information requested. Then, you can mail or fax your forms with your P.O. directly to 928-833-3632. When your account is approved and created, the software will ship via the requested method. • Credit Card: We can accept bank transfers or credit card payments, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card and American Express. To best protect your privacy, credit card orders are taken as web storefront or phone orders only, so contact us to place your order.
• PayPal: We can also receive payments via PayPal. Schedule payments to the user "BillBach" at goldstarsoftware.com. (Format this like an Email address. We'd give you the exact format, but spammers keep sending us more garbage.) You may need to establish an account with Paypal to complete this transaction.
